Associated Students Organization The Associated Students Organization at Los Angeles Southwest College is the governing body representing students. ASO also sponsors social activities and events and supports its members throughout the year. Membership in the ASO is not mandatory. However, student activities are financed by money received from student membership in ASO. Activities are in accordance with policies, rules, and regulations defined by the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles Community College District.
