I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium. I was able to connect my Blackberry Storm just fine when I had Vista. Now when I try to connect my phone via Bluetooth I get a 'Bluetooth peripheral device not found.' I have tried everything. I have checked for updates on Windows, Bluetooth manufacture, and HP and I cannot find any update.

I have went to the device manager and right clicked the peripheral driver and tried to update it over the internet and manually. I tried to troubleshoot and run it with a older version of Windows, since it worked then, but when it asks me to select which program I would like to run on an older version of windows, I cannot find the drive. Does anyone have any ideas or a way to fix this??!!!!!

Hi There, Actually your solution to your problem is simple, I was in the same situation few months ago, and i have managed to resolve th problem, Please follow the steps below Download the 'Windows Mobile Device Center' ( current version is 6.1 ) which you can download it from this works for both Vista and Windows 7. I've tried it on both. - Install the downloaded but it may not look like it worked on Windows 7 PCs. Vista automatically configured the settings on the bluetooth devices but for those who have Windows 7, here are the things you should do: - Go to 'Device Manager' from 'Control Panel' -Or- just right-click on Computer and choose 'Properties' and then click on 'Device Manager'.
