Hi everyone I have just acquired a 12 gauge side x side and am trying to find info on it and maybe a value it it has eatons of Canada on the sight rail and has made in spain on trigger guard with the letters M3 on one side of the receiver it has 2 pheasants engraved on the other it has 2 grouse engraved on the underside it has a duck engraved and the serial number on all 3 pieces is 128667 but no markings of manufacturer that I can see could any one help me out would like to know when it was made and what its value might be thank you. Many of the old sxs manufacturers made guns for the big chain stores. Spain in particular is fussy about putting the name of destination on the gun before it can leave the country. (You will always find the chain store or at minimum a numbered co., such as with Bilozir's on the gun). Easydis base v44 v10. On the plus side, all european guns must be proofed, and therefore there is a legend of stamps on the underside of the barrel and in the action. Quite often there is a manufacturer stamp with the proof marks. If you could post a picture of the proof marks, or get someone smarter than myself to post the pics, likely we could give you way more info than any based on what you provided above.
